Thomas Klaverkamp

50x50 oil on canvas

from 1982

Tom Klaverkamp was a painting professor at the University of Kansas and passed away early. He only produced approximately 40 major paintings....some figurative pieces and many still-lifes. Tom was a student of William Bailey at the University of Indiana and is known as a "realist", influenced by Piero della Francisco and Balthus. This painting is the only one we have heard of that is not in a private collection or museum. Truly, a very impressive painting. Price available upon request.
